At Knock School, the Dance Troupe is made up of
senior dancers who have attained Preliminary and
Open Championship level. They range in age from
seven
to twenty-three years old. Most of them are
competing at the National and World levels.
When this group is hired for a performance they
present dances together, similar to what you
would see in Riverdance. Knock’s
teacher, Angela, is also a talented
choreographer, known for her excellent routines
like Fire in the Kitchen - a very lively
piece, danced in Irish hard shoes; Spirit of
the Dance - a combination of beautiful soft
and lively hard shoe; and Cotton-Eye Joe,
that will have you stamping your feet and
clapping along.
